Recently we’ve told you a lot about Teach the Future’s plans, but this blog is dedicated to how you can get involved with us!

Contact your Representatives

We’re doing all we can to raise the profile of our Bill, but on January 28th it’ll be down to the MPs to push it through to the next stage. We need at least 40 MPs to attend and vote for the Bill in the Second Reading. To help ensure this happens, you can email our letter to your MP, or go one step further and meet with them! You can do this online or in-person and it will all be under your control. We’ve made a guide to help with this so if this sounds like something you want to try, email us at hello@teachthefuture.uk.

Keeping up with all our plans for 2022 will take a lot of work…

So, we’ve started a crowdfunder! Can you lend us a hand by donating? You can also share the link to the crowdfunder with your loved ones, and these ready-made posts to your social media. This crowdfunder will help us get word about the Bill into wider media, commission more research into the current state of Climate Education in the UK, and allow us to take on student staff members to manage all of this work!

Come and join us!

Teach the future is onboarding new volunteers to all four nations (England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland). If you’re aged 13 to 26 and want to join the team, sign up to volunteer via our website now to join the next set of onboarding sessions. We’re a great team with loads of opportunities and we’d love for you to join us, no matter your skill-set or interests!

We’d be nowhere without our supporters, and we’re forever grateful for your help. It’s thanks to you that we, a group of students from across the UK, can fight for serious Climate Education.

All our thanks,

Teach the Future
