After our successful campaign launch last week, Teach the Future Scotland is looking to begin recruiting new volunteers very soon! We would love to expand our brilliant team as we continue forward to achieve systemic change in education.

If you're a Scottish student interested in joining our Scotland team or want to learn more about what we do, make sure to save one of the upcoming dates when we'll be running onboarding sessions:

  • Wednesday 15th at 5 pm
  • Saturday 18th at 5 pm
  • Monday 20th at 7 pm

Even if you do attend a call, there is no obligation for you to join our team. During onboarding, we hope to share insight into what we do as well as explain what it means to be a campaign volunteer for Teach the Future.

To give a quick summary of what the role would entail:

  • Attending the meetings when possible
  • Contributing and taking on tasks
  • Adhering by the Code of Conduct and following our principles
  • Supporting the creation of legislation
  • Student-led outreach toward governmental officials and NGOs
  • Growth of the campaign

Also, specialist areas could include:

  • Social media
  • Blog
  • International coordination
  • Local government outreach

To get involved, please email us at scotland@teachthefuture.uk so we can send you an invite link to whichever onboarding date suits you best.

We hope to see some new faces very soon!
