That is what we have told the treasury, in our Comprehensive Spending Review representation. A CSR representation is an opportunity for individuals and organisations to suggest where the Governments spending should go over the next three years, this CSR aims to prioritise several areas that link into our aims greatly, including: contributing to net-zero, ensuring every young person has a superb education and ensuring that all departments have the appropriate structures and processes.
You can read our representation below, it's 11 pages long and includes lots of details about how we can improve current school energy efficiency processes and why this is really important.
Big thank you to Matt Fulford from Inspired Efficiency for providing us with the suggestions for new energy efficiency measures in schools and Simon Alsbury at Energise Ltd for his methodology and costings of a net-zero education estate.
