We met with Cas on an Instagram Live. He is very supportive of climate education, and talked about the importance of it being integrated not just academic subjects, but lifeskills and vocational trades, so that everyone can be empowered by knowledge on the effects of climate change and what they personally can do about it. He stressed the importance of climate education giving hope to students, and that curriculum reform around the issue should be carefully constructed to avoid climate education becoming another "checkbox" that restricts both teachers and students.
