Absolutely essential to include climate change education in schools and how it affects a range of subjects including geography, science subjects, mathematics (to understand stats and figures), and even sports (what to be aware of in a heatwave, more frequent lightening strikes, etc).
It should not be all doom and gloom but inspire the younger generation to think about the causes of climate change and the solutions, how to mitigate and how to adapt.
Yes, to address the myths and base our understanding and education on scientific facts.
We have to practice what we preach and schools provide the ideal environment to demonstrate how we can tackle climate change.
There is a significant shortage of skills in renewable energy, for research & development, installation, repair and maintenance. Steps need to be taken now to fill those skills shortages.
