  1. Do you support the integration of climate change throughout every subject?

    Yes. The climate crisis is the biggest crisis facing humanity and our planet. Climate breakdown is not just a crisis of the future, but an ongoing crisis which is devastating lives across the world right now. It is vital that young people who are our future understand what is happening and what steps can mitigate or change things.
  2. Do you support the teaching on solutions for climate change, as well as the causes and impacts?

    Yes. As stated earlier It is vital that young people, who are our future, understand what is happening and what steps can mitigate or change things.
  3. Do they support more training for all teachers around the climate crisis?

    Yes. In my work as a University lecturer, I have undertaken Carbon Literacy training which has informed me more on the issues and the actions needed..
  4. Do they support more money being spent to upgrade schools so they are carbon neutral?

    Yes. Making schools more carbon neutral isn't just environmentally sensible but financially sensible to reduce heating and lighting costs.
  5. Do they support more green skills being taught in job-related education? 

    Yes. The Green Party of Northern Ireland strongly supports the introduction of greatly expanded vocational and professional training aimed at creating a workforce for emerging new energy-related industries.
