Candidate's Responses

  1. Do you support the integration of climate change throughout every subject?

I do support this aim. We are in the midst of a climate and nature crisis - we must treat this threat with the severity that it presents. We are part of nature and of the climate and earth around us and so it affects all we do.
  2. Do you support the teaching on solutions for climate change, as well as the causes and impacts?

I do support this. The education needs to focus on the key things that scientist have been clear about - an end to fossil fuels - a drastic change to farming and food with a transition to plant based diets as well as an overall reduction in consumption and waste.
  3. Do they support more training for all teachers around the climate crisis?

Yes - teachers must be equipped to be able to teach across the curriculum the information that is necessary and backed by science
  4. Do they support more money being spent to upgrade schools so they are carbon neutral?

    Yes.
  5. Do they support more green skills being taught in job-related education?

    Yes
